Family

We had a wonderful Christmas this year with family and friends attending a dinner that my husband and I worked on, we furnished the turkey, dressing, potatoes, and gravy. Everyone else brought a dish of some kind or another and desert. There were twelve of us, and my small living room was filled with a lot of laughter and bringing to rememberance of times past. My Father, who will be 92 years old this year on January 26,2009, was the life of the party. Everyone enjoyed his stories and wit. Our table set all 12 of us and was piled high with food that was so different in color and arrangement that as we helped ourselves, we filled our plates to the max. For me it was a time of joy. Our granddaughter who had drawn away from my husband and I for about two years, sent and e-mail telling us that she had accepted Jesus Christ and was sorry for all that she had put us through. Our neice that had also been going through a lot this last year, came back into the fold. All in all, it couldn't have been a better ending of the year 2008. I had an auto accident in August 2008 and on December 29, I had the last of the injections into the muscles an head on the left side. I feel numb there, but do not have the pain that I had for the last 4 months. My husband had a upper GI today and they found a hiatial hernia that I am sure will have to be taken care of, but we can deal with that as it comes.
